Man sought in drugstore robbery

Columbia police are investigating an armed robbery Tuesday at CVS at 2571 Forest Drive, a police news release said.

A man entered the store about 4:15 p.m., gave a note to a cashier demanding money, ordered the money be put in a brown grocery bag, then fled, the release said.

The man was black, between 25 and 35 years of age, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 160 pounds, the release said.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, a dark-colored baseball hat with "National Guard" in white letters on it and black tennis shoes, the release said.
